FAQ
What's special about the AI in this game?
You can type and voice chat to all NPCs and they will talk back to you. They will remember interactions with you and other players that you may not have even met. Each NPC can form opinions based on your choices and actions, have emotional states that evolve through shared experiences and understand and discuss their environment.
How does the faction system work?
The game features six distinct factions vying for control. Your actions and quest choices affect your reputation with these factions, and your decisions can make you either notorious or celebrated among different groups. You can complete quests through both combat and social interactions, including convincing NPCs through dialogue.
What engine does the game use?
The game is made using Unreal Engine 5's cutting edge tech including Nanite for performant high-fidelity graphics, Lumen for realistic lighting, Metahuman models for realistic character facial expressions, and Megascan photoscanned environments.
What happens if I die?
The game features roguelite mechanics, meaning there are consequences to death during delves. You risk losing your equipment and gathered loot if you don't make it out successfully. However, your overall progress in terms of relationships, XP, and banked items persists.
Who is developing this game?
Sigil Softworks is a simulation development company in Orlando, Fl. founded in 2017 by Nathan Weatherford. Our experience integrating high fedility assets, multiplayer functionality, and sim systems for serious games uniquely qualifies us to create an experience like Delve Master where all NPC interactions are simulated.
When will the game be released?
We will provide a more detailed roadmap once we determine if we will be working with a video game publisher or running a Kickstarter to fund development.
